Decrease your risk for getting Skin Cancer

Despite risks, many believe that suntans look healthy and attractive. As children and adults we are exposed to dangerous Ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun.

More than 90% of all skin cancers are the result of exposure to ultraviolet radiation. UVA rays may have a significant effect on the development of melanoma, the most dangerous type of skin cancer. UV exposure can damage your immune system and your skin, causing a wrinkled, leathery appearance or premature aging.

School Supply Drive

STUFF THE BUS school supply drive. We have helped the children in our community for 7 years with our efforts to make sure they have school supplies.

Thank you letter from Anne, La Mesa Elementary School Counselor:

Thank you very much for donating school supplies to the “School Supplies Stuff the Bus Drive”.  Our students at La Mesa Elementary
were so excited to receive the school supplies they needed.  Our school is a Title I school which means that our families are very needy.
Again thanks for your donation.

Vantage Albuquerque Fundraiser

Vintage Albuquerque’s 22nd year. What started in 1992 as a small fundraiser for the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra has grown into the largest wine auction event in the southwest. In 2010, Vintage Albuquerque became an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting much-needed art education programs and outreach activities focused on K-12 students in the city and state.

The arts in New Mexico public schools have been severely reduced and, in some cases, eliminated. This is of great concern because it is crucial to expose children to creativity, expression, imagination and original thinking at an early age. New Mexico is blessed with a culture of creativity that is not only a major legacy, but will allow us to thrive for generations to come. All funds raised through Vintage Albuquerque supports arts, music, dance, theater and other artistic education programs
